How does a foam cannon for pressure washer work?
Foam cannon is for pre-wash. It is kind of detergent a you can put first before the car is properly cleaned to help remove some of the dirt on the car, so that the correct cleaning work is more effective. As you might have guessed from the name, snow foam produces thick white foam.
Foam sprayer is made of super plastic, chemically resistant high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and brass, which can be said to be durable. They come with a 1-liter bottle attachment with measurements on the side, so you can know how much snow foam was used, as well as the dip tube and filter. The convenient syringe adjusts the flow of foam. Just turn the dial mounted on the top to get the thickness you like. The thicker the foam, the longer it will stay on the vehicle. In order to produce the required thick foam, our spray gun requires a minimum flow rate of 400 liters per hour.
The working principle of snow foam cannon is to produce thick, sticky foam that sticks to the surface of the car. The thick foam increases the time for the cleaning agent in the snow foam to contact the dirt on the car surface. This is the so-called contact time. How To Use Power Washer Foam Cannon?
Attach the foam cannon to your pressure washer.
Most foam cannons come with a quick-connect adapter that makes it easy to attach them to your pressure washer. Simply screw the adapter onto the end of your pressure washer hose, and then screw the foam cannon onto the adapter.
Fill the foam cannon with soap.
Use a soap that is designed for use with foam cannons. These soaps are typically thicker and will create a better foam. To fill the foam cannon, unscrew the cap on the bottom of the canister and pour the soap into the canister.
Attach the foam cannon to the pressure washer.
Once the foam cannon is filled with soap, attach it to the pressure washer. Simply screw the foam cannon onto the end of the pressure washer hose.
Adjust the pressure.
Most foam cannons have a pressure adjustment knob. Use the knob to adjust the pressure of the foam then control the thickness of the foam, a lower pressure will create a thicker foam, while a higher pressure will create a thinner foam. Start spraying.
Once the pressure is adjusted, start spraying the foam onto your car. Hold the foam cannon about 12 inches away from your car’s surface and move it in a circular motion to evenly coat your car.
Let the foam sit.
Allow the foam to sit on your car for a few minutes. This will give the soap time to loosen dirt and grime.
Rinse off the foam.
Once the foam has sat for a few minutes, rinse it off with water. Use a pressure washer to rinse the foam off of your car.
Dry your car.
Once the foam is rinsed off, dry your car with a towel.

How To Use a Snow Foam Gun?
1. With the water supply off, connect the spray nozzle to the end of your garden hose.
2. Pull back on the plastic quick-release of the spray nozzle, and insert the car wash foam gun barrel until it locks in place.
3. Fill the soap solution bottle with fresh water (warm water is better), and then add car wash soap.
4. The foaming stick can be adjusted in parallel or vertical direction.
5. You can adjust water pressure by hand grip according to your need, metal clip on the handgrip helps you to fix water pressure, make your hands free.
6. Cover the car with soap foam to remove and lubricate the dirt adhering to the surface.
7. Continue to use the 2-barrel cleaning method. Spray the foam directly on the gloves every time you wipe to get the maximum lubrication effect. Rinse and dry.

1. Foam Wash Gun VS. Foam Cannon: Which is Better For you?
A portable foam cannon, or universal snow foam lance as they are sometimes referred to, is a wash accessory attachment designed specifically to connect to a gas or electric pressure washer to upgrade your Two Bucket Wash Process. Quick release foam cannons create a super-foaming soap solution by mixing high pressure water flow from a pressure washer with soap and air.
A pessure washer foam gun is a similar wash attachment to the snow foam cannon discussed above, but where the car foam gun differs is that it works directly with your standard water hose to enhance the Two Bucket Wash Process, rather than connecting to a pressure washer. It’s a fast, easy option for when you don’t want to hook up the pressure washer, or a perfect option if you don’t own a high pressure washer.
Choose the one you buy according to the amount of foam you want and your own equipment.
2. Why Isn’t My Snow Foam Thick Enough?
The water quality is not good.
If you use harder boreholes or dam water, this will have a negative impact on the foaming ability of Snow Job foam.
Transparent tube that is not connected to the cannon, or its kinked bottle.
It is not possible to suck up the snow from the cannon bottle. Also make sure it is not completely flush with the bottom of the cannon bottle when it is inside. Check to make sure that the tube is connected correctly and is not kinked or blocked in any way.
The water pressure is not good. If the pressure is too low, or the hose connected to the high-pressure washer is kinked, it will cause the high-pressure washer to run out of water and not work properly. You may need to add more foam cleaner to compensate for it. We recommend adding 20 to 100 ml more
Over time, you may notice that the cannon does not foam as you remember. This may be because the snow working solution dries and accumulates inside the cannon, blocking the water flow. After each use of the cannon, turning the top knob to a fully positive value helps to allow fresh water to pass through the device and flush out the foam solution. Alternatively, you can flush the cannon by adding 200 ml of Pure Orange Agent (without water) to the cannon bottle and passing it through as usual with Snow Job foam. This will help to clean the cannon without any dry cleaners.
If you stop foaming when you use the cannon, the culprit is likely to be foreign matter entering and blocking the cannon. We have this happened several times in our shed, and even found small particles of town water inside our cannon. If this is the case, you will need to disassemble the cannon to find and remove objects.
